Substation civil work is high-consequence construction. Our crews understand the coordination required around energized environments, tight outages, permitting constraints, and critical-path schedules. Tandem brings disciplined planning, experienced field leadership, and a “do it right the first time” mindset—so sites are ready for structural steel, control buildings, and equipment installation without rework, surprises, or schedule drift.

We also build emergency staging areas that help clients respond faster when weather and disaster events hit, from rapid site prep and access improvements to laydown yards and stabilized pads.
